Individuals who are selling tickets will not be standing outside of the event. They will not be charging more than they paid for the tickets either. They usually sell tickets because a conflicting engagement comes up, or something happens that will prevent them from attending. They want to sell the tickets to recoup some of the money that they spent on them. They will often sell the tickets at a price that is less than what they paid, just to get some of their money back. If you want to buy cheap tickets, make sure that you are making the purchase from an individual – not a scalper!
EBay is a great place to look for individuals who are selling tickets to specific events. You will need an eBay account to bid on the tickets, but signing up with eBay is quite simple, and only takes a few minutes.
